In this episode we talk about the lies that depression tells us about ourselves, because when we are depressed, we are actually not ourselves. Your depression isn't who you are, it is something that is distancing you from all that is potentially wonderful about yourself. This is what makes depression so dangerous. 

Just as it's important to redefine what success means to you, it's just as important to redefine what it means to be strong. 

Also, tips for getting through the dark times, helping others that may be struggling, and how to decide if therapy is right for you.

Obviously, I'm not a doctor. Just sharing what has worked for me and what has helped me decide what was right for me. I've been free of depression for a good year now and it's my #1 proudest accomplishment of my life. I want the same for everyone that is dealing with feeling depressed. I am simply sharing a lot of what I learned about depression, what it does, what it convinces people of, etc.
